Charlie Sample Itinerary
The itinerary below focuses on the recreational side of the experience.
Remember, much of every day is devoted to

instruction,
leadership, teamwork, personal growth, and our Challenge Series, which
presents unexpected obstacles for each crew to face as a group. Please note
that in order to ensure the best experience for all, the itinerary must
remain flexible and may change before or during the program.
» Hodges Creek, Tortola : Day 1
Get acquainted with our beautiful home base; meet your Captain and everyone
on your program. If you arrive in the afternoon, you'll have a chance to see
and feel those crystal-clear waters.
» The Bight, Norman Island : Day 2
We'll go through some preparations and lessons at the dock, followed by
your first sail and a pleasant night at anchor under the Caribbean sky.
Resposibilities
- Cooking
- Assuming leadership roles (skipper, mate, navigator)
- Keeping the boat clean
- Ships's Log entries
|
- Accomplishing group & personal goals
- Participating in group activities & meetings
- Helping to maintain a safe environment
|
» Cane Garden Bay, Tortola : Day 3
Navigate around the southwest tip of Tortola. A challenging sail precedes
some diving, beach activities, windsurfing, and mixer games plus a night out
with great local music.
» Sopers Hole, Tortola : Day 4
This is your first docking-a major event for the crew. Enjoy shoreside
facilities and shops full of real Caribbean flavor. A relaxing evening
together on the dock will finish off the day.
» Little Harbor, Jost Van Dyke : Day 5

After
last nights dancing and a couple days of sailing and scuba, a quiet night at
Jost is just what the crew needs to rejuvenate.
» Monkey Point, Guana Island : Day 6
A spectacular place for your next dives, Guana is an unspoiled island off
the northeast end of Tortola. In addition to sailing and scuba, try some
water-skiing or windsurfing.
» Manchioneel Bay, Cooper Island : Day 7
Another prime diving area, Cooper provides a mix of stunning coral as well
as flat sandy patches to practice your scuba skills. At the end of the day,
join the others for a social night on shore or spend the evening on another
boat with your new friends.
» Nanny Cay : Day 8
A sail through the Sir Francis Drake Channel ending at the docks is
followed by good shopping, great volleyball and a picturesque seaside pool.
» Marina Cay : Day 9
After an exciting upwind sail along the south side of Tortola, arrive at
the beautiful Marina Cay, a tiny island dotted with bungalows and the famous
Pusser's restaurant.
» Bitter End Yacht Club, Virgin Gorda : Day 10
Get ready to spend the afternoon at The Bitter End, a five star Caribbean
resort. Spend the afternoon shopping, sailing or just swinging in a shady
hammock.
» Vixen Point, Prickly Pear : Day 11
A race through North Gorda Sound followed by water-skiing, windsurfing,
kayaking, small boat sailing, and volleyball guarantees a fun day. A BBQ and
dancing rounds out the evening.
» Anegada : Day 12
Few people have the chance to go to this unique island. The surrounding
reef makes accurate piloting and navigation critical. An interesting taxi
ride delivers you to one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, and a sit
down dinner on shore completes the day.
» Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda : Day 13
Anchor next to spectacular rocks and prepare for some excellent snorkeling.
Perhaps you will host one of the other crews as you eat dinner and relax in
the seclusion of Mountain Point.
Social Activities
- Almost every day the whole fleet is onshore to explore and
socialize
- Reggae band dancing
|
- DJ & BBQ
- Olympics (inter-boat relays)
- Dinner ashore
|
» Village Cay, Tortola : Day 14

Enjoy a second day and another chance to do everything Tortola has to
offer.
» Little Harbor, Peter Island : Day 16
A relaxing sail over to Little Harbor is followed by anchoring in a perfect
spot for dinner parties and stargazing.
» Trellis Bay, Tortola : Day 17
Enjoy time on the beach at the artists' village of Trellis Bay. This is a
great place to buy nice arts and crafts souveniers.

An endless stretch of beach is the sight of our adaptation of "The
Olympics" a little friendly competition between boats.

learned and accomplished. Then, look forward to awards night with skits and
surprises full of fun and memories with your friends.
