Foxtrot Sample Itinerary
Along with the Foxtrot community service projects, every day is devoted to
instruction, leadership, teamwork and personal growth. A key part of our
curriculum is the Challenge Series situations that are sprung
on the crew to test the skills theyve learned. Please note that in
order to ensure the best experience for all, the itinerary must remain
flexible and may change before or during the program.
» Hodges Creek Marina, Tortola : Day 1
Get acquainted with our beautiful home base; meet your Captain, Mate, and
everyone on your program. If you arrive in the afternoon, you'll have a
chance to dive into those crystal-clear waters.
» The Bight, Norman Island : Day 2
We'll go through some preparations and lessons at the dock, including an
introduction to our community service projects, followed by your first sail
and a pleasant night at anchor under the Caribbean sky.

» The Indians/Sopers Hole, Tortola : Day 3
In the morning well snorkel or dive the Indians and begin our fish
and invertebrate identification practice. That afternoon, well do some
turtle tagging with a representative from the Department of Conservation and
Fisheries. Enjoy an evening on the dock socializing with students on the
other boat.
» Great Harbor, Peter Island : Day 4
A short sail to Great Harbor leads us to an excellent community service
location. Here well attempt to catch more turtles to tag, as well as
begin our studies of seagrass beds in the BVI.
» Manchioneel Bay, Cooper Island : Day 5
This afternoon well snorkel on two great reefs and continue
practicing our fish and invertebrate identification skills in preparation
for our first Reef Check study tomorrow. A fun night out awaits us here at
the Cooper Island Beach Club.
» Manchioneel Bay, Cooper Island : Day 6

Today
well spend a full day at Cooper Island. In the morning well be
performing our first Reef Check survey. Well break for some
watersports midday, and in the afternoon well do some more turtle
tagging.
» Village Cay, Tortola : Day 7
After we plant mangroves with a representative from the National Parks
Trust, we dock in Road Town, the capital of the British Virgin Islands.
There is plenty of time for shopping and exploring, and its a great
night to go out to dinner.
» Trellis Bay, Tortola : Day 8
A fun, upwind sail leads us to Trellis Bay, where we will perform more
seagrass bed studies and turtle tagging. Well also enjoy time ashore
browsing the work of local artisans.

» Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda : Day 9
One of the most secluded anchorages in the British Virgin Islands is the
sight of our second Reef Check survey. Youll enjoy snorkeling or
diving on an isolated, pristine reef. Then well spend a gorgeous night
on board under the stars.
» Bitter End Yacht Club, Virgin Gorda : Day 10
Here well enjoy a day away from our service projects as we relax at
one of the finest watersports resorts in the Caribbean. Well have time
to windsurf, waterski, sail small boats, or just shop and lounge on the
beach. At night well enjoy the beats of DJ Heavy B as we dance the
night away.
» Vixen Point, Prickly Pear Island : Day 11
We resume our work here, either studying the seagrass beds or tagging the
turtles of this nearly deserted island. Well also leave time for
enjoying this idyllic beach.
» Pond Bay, Virgin Gorda : Day 12
The sight of our final Reef Check survey, as well as a perfect beach for
our Sail Caribbean Olympics... a little friendly competition between our two
boats. Well enjoy our final night at anchor under the stars.

Celebrate
your last sail together by showing each other all that you have learned and
accomplished. Then, look forward to awards night with skits and surprises
full of fun and memories with your friends.
» Fond farewells as you head back home. : Day 14
After a long overnight sail in the open ocean, we arrive at Deep Bay in
Antigua where you'll get to relax and snorkel after being at sea.
